There are typically two types of metal roof retrofit systems. The first system is a metal roof being installed over an existing roof. The second being an infill of the deck flutes, followed by an additional insulation coverboard with a single ply covering as the new roofing system. A “décor” rib can be installed if an owner prefers the standing seam look.
